2. Description of Service
OralCat is a free AI-powered English speaking coach that:
- Transcribes speech from your microphone in real-time
- Sends the transcribed text to an AI service for grammar correction and speaking feedback
- Tracks your practice progress locally on your device
- Provides topic-based practice exercises including PSLE Oral preparation
3. Free Service and Donations
- OralCat is currently free to use.
- Users may make voluntary donations to support AI processing, cloud hosting, maintenance and future development.
- Donations are optional and are not required to use the Service.
- Unless required by law, donations are non-refundable.
4. User Accounts
- Some features may require users to sign in using Google or email.
- Users are responsible for maintaining the security of their accounts.
5. User Eligibility
- The Service is available to users of all ages.
- Users under 13 should review the Privacy Policy with a parent or guardian.
- By using the Service, you confirm that you have the legal capacity to accept these terms.
6. Acceptable Use
You agree to:
- Use the Service only for its intended purpose (English language practice)
- Not attempt to reverse engineer, modify, or create derivative works of the Service
- Not use the Service for any unlawful purpose
- Not upload or transmit any content that is harmful, abusive, or violates any law
7. Intellectual Property
All rights, title, and interest in the Service, including its code, design, and content, belong to us. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the Service for personal, non-commercial purposes.
8. AI Accuracy Disclaimer
The grammar corrections, vocabulary suggestions, and feedback provided by the Service are generated by artificial intelligence. This feedback is intended for educational purposes only.
- AI-generated feedback may occasionally be inaccurate or incomplete.
- OralCat is designed to complement, not replace, guidance from teachers, parents or other educational resources.
- The Service is a practice tool and should not be used as the sole source of exam preparation.
- We recommend reviewing corrections with a teacher or parent.
- Users should exercise their own judgement when relying on the feedback.
- We are not responsible for any reliance on AI-generated feedback.
9. Privacy
Your use of the Service is governed by our Privacy Policy, which explains what data we process and how. By using the Service, you acknowledge our data practices as described in the Privacy Policy.
10. Service Availability
