About the PSLE English Oral Examination

The PSLE English Oral Examination assesses a student's ability to communicate clearly and confidently in spoken English.

It consists of two components:

• Read Aloud — Read a passage clearly and expressively
• Stimulus-Based Conversation — Respond to questions based on a visual stimulus

Students are assessed on pronunciation, fluency, expression, and their ability to communicate ideas clearly and confidently.
