💬 N-Level Spoken Interaction Practice Part 2 · 15 marks

In the GCE N(A)-Level Oral (Syllabus 1190), Part 2 is the Spoken Interaction: the examiners discuss with you a topic broadly related to the video clip from Part 1. They will not ask you about what people say in the clip — the conversation is about your own ideas, opinions and experiences.

You are assessed on:

• Communication of perspective(s) — clear, well-developed opinions
• Engagement in a discussion — sustaining the conversation, moving beyond the prompts

Practice tip: give extended responses. State your view, develop it with reasons and examples, and keep the conversation going — top-band candidates move beyond the examiner's prompt.
